Blaze, the laser safety for cyclists

The design student Emily Brooke, University of Brighton, has developed a device that can give bikers the security they lacked.

Because of cars, buses and bikes, the bikes are less visible and less imposing in the chaotic traffic in urban centers. We did not want it that way, but the high rate of accidents has shown us that cyclists really need more security. So take a look at this laser projection:

The idea is simple and green laser announces "I'm going through." It was not meant to replace safety equipment and drivers polite and respectful, but it helps a lot in visibility.

To get to the final product, Emily talked to experts, psychologists and transit bus companies to develop light, visible also during the day. According to the student, 80% of accidents occur because drivers simply do not see cyclists.
